Now there's a book that brings back news headlines!
What an interesting teaser, and a really nice introduction to the book. I have to add this to my list now! (shame on you ;) )
Here's our teaser:

Sounds both chilling and original. No need to enter me in the giveaway; I simply wished to thank you for visiting my blog :-)
I read a review of this today and it sounds fabulous. Well, fabulous in the sense that it sounds like a good novel not in the subject matter as that seems a bit sad. Either way, I would love to be entered into your giveaway! Here is my teaser:

That's amazing! I've never heard of this but it's amazing. I'm going to need a bigger bookshelf/bookroom for all these TBR list.
Thanks for stopping by my little ol' blog too. I'm also going to need a bigger reader for all the great blogs this little meme introduces me to.
Here's my TT: Composing Cat
Awesome teaser! my teaser if from Captured by desire on my blog at http://inthehammockblog.blogspot.com
I've heard of this book, and from this excerpt, it sounds really fascinating. I must add it to my list!
Thanks for visiting my blog.
I have never heard of this book. I hope that you enjoy your book. Here's my Tuesday Teaser
Your teaser makes it seem like a fantasy book, but after reading the synopsis I am still baffled. Intriguing teaser.
I've heard a lot of good things about this one. But this is the first excerpt I've read. Good teaser!
Here's mine:

Thank you, Saranna! I'm so happy you're enjoying Kiss. And I love the sound of your book.... have you read Jane Slayer (a zombie/vampire-filled mash-up of Jane Eyre)? I just finished it and really liked it a lot--it sounds as if you might too. cheers, E
I'm a fairy tale junkie. I love them.
I especially love Angela Carter and Tanith Lee with their versions of fairy tales. I'm afraid I'm enamored with the darker stories and I like to see an author add their own twist.
But having just started A KISS AT MIDNIGHT, I'm in love with Eloisa's CinderKate. *g* I know with her books, I'm always in for an interesting ride that runs the gamut of emotions with witty dialogue and a cast of supporting characters who always make me want to know what else is going to happen.
If I were to write my own stories, the big bad wolf would be eaten by Granny who was really a werewolf herself, Snow White would be a goth girl obsessed with vampires and Sleeping Beauty would fall in love with her maid because she's the only one who brought her pineapple lip gloss. *g*
Barbara that is awesome! LOL
This book looks good.
Here's my teaser.

I keep hearing great things about this author! :)
And thanks for stopping by my blog, too!
Ohhh, the intrigue and conflict builds, this sounds like a great book. Thanks for dropping by Calico Contemplations.
I read Sarah's Key this past spring and loved it. I have A Secret Kept in my wish list. I hope Clariisa didn't die because of the tall blond American.
Good teaser! I love the cover, it definitely looks like a book I would pick up in a book store! Reminds me of Suite Francaise a little bit.
Sleepless nights? Cancer? Funeral? Mysterious American?
What a loaded teaser! Thanks for visiting my blog and recommending yours, Barbara. Glad I stopped by!
I have Sarah's Key on my TBR shelves and this one sounds good also. Add another book to my ever growing wishlist. Great teaser!
I really loved Sarah's Key - would like to read this one, too!
